A short, plain description of what this site does with your data.

Reading the site

You can browse every page without an account. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver pages and protect the service. We use a first-party analytics script served from our own domain to count visits and see which pages are used.

AI assistants and the MCP server

The MCP server at spacemushroom.com/mcp is read-only and needs no sign-in or API key. When an AI assistant calls a tool, the inputs it sends (for example a material name or a property) are passed to our database to run the query, and the answer is returned. The server keeps nothing between calls and writes nothing to the database. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver the service, and our servers keep standard operational logs for security and debugging, only as long as needed for those purposes. We do not sell this data, share it for advertising or build profiles of users from it.

Accounts

If you create an account to submit materials, we store the email address and name you provide and the submissions you make, using Supabase for sign-in and storage. We use them only to run your account and review your submissions.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising on this site.

To ask for your account or submissions to be deleted, contact us through the contact page.
