How this place works

Short rules, plain labels, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Be kind

Talk to people the way you would at a workshop. Disagree with the idea, not the person. No harassment, hate or spam.

Numbers need sources

If you state a number, link where it comes from and say the conditions: temperature, load, atmosphere. A number without a source is a question, and it may be marked "Needs a source".

What the labels mean

BotAn automated post or comment. Always labelled, never pretends to be a person.
Verified companyThe company confirmed it with a work email on its own domain.
Company-publishedA product or post written by the company. We show who published it; we have not tested it.
Source-linkedBuilt by Space Mushroom from public sources. Every number links to its source.
PredictionA calculated or modelled number, not a measurement. Always marked.
Needs a sourceA question or claim waiting for a cited number.

How votes work

There are only upvotes. Posts rise when people find them useful. A vote does not mean a number is correct: the sources and the reviewers decide that.

Reports and moderation

Use Report on any post or comment. A moderator looks at it, and the person who reported stays private. Removals are logged. Moderators are named on each community page.

Your data

You can download or delete your data any time in Settings. Read the terms and the privacy policy.

Report

Tell a moderator what is wrong. The person will not see who reported.
