  "type": "greases",
  "summary": "Braycote Micronic 601 EF is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) grease of NLGI grade 2 with a PTFE thickener, made by Castrol Industrial. Its product data sheet gives a useful temperature range of -80 °C to 204 °C and a dropping point of 208 °C (ASTM D2265). NASA reports that its parent grease, Braycote 601, lubricated Space Shuttle actuators and was stable after 19 years in the sealed actuators. The flight evidence is for Braycote 601, not for the EF version, and no flight data for 601 EF were found.\n",
  "best_for": "Sealed mechanisms, bearings and O-ring assembly that must run in a hostile chemical environment or in vacuum. Castrol says the grease is designed to operate in the presence of rocket fuels, oxidizers and high vacuum.",

The grease has an NLGI grade of 2 and a useful temperature range of -80 °C to 204 °C on the datasheet.
